Claudia Frasca, 64, of Coeur d'Alene passed away the night of Sunday, May 26. Claudia was born in Moorhead, Minnesota on August 30, 1954 to Raymond Hovland and Dollie (Korteff) Hovland. The family later moved to Keller, Texas to their family farm where she grew up. Claudia graduated from Keller High in 1972. She lived for a time in Okinawa where she discovered her love of scuba diving and got her dive masters.

They had their son, Armond, February 22, 1985 followed by their daughter, Brittany, March 23, 1990. Claudia spent some time raising both of her children and loved her family and friends above all else. She always looked out for friends and family and spent her life laughing and helping as many people as possible.

The family moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho June of 1994. She continued working as a checker once they moved and in 1997, when Fred Meyer opened, she began there. At Fred Meyer she was a checker, checker trainer, and a customer service representative. She enjoyed cooking, playing board and card games, reading, scuba diving, and helping people. She was always helping coworkers when they were going through hard times, she donated regularly to St. Jude's, she helped out at school functions for her kids, and was the Den Mother for her son's Cub Scouts.
